About Kate

Kate Hurst, SLP, is a Level 3 Certified RPM Provider and founder of RPM of Virginia in Falls Church, VA. She completed the introductory course in April 2016 and was certified in June 2016, with advanced course completed in August 2020. RPM of Virginia provides meaningful, age-appropriate intervention for individuals with autism and related learning differences, including Soma RPM and PROMPT therapy. Kate believes that all persons with autism and related learning differences are born with an innate desire to learn, and it is her job to adjust her teaching so the affected learner can be an active participant in the learning process. She works together with families to help individuals improve their skills leading to independence.
